Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, PujaZen does not employ, supervise, control, direct, or manage the manner, method, sequence, ritual content, words, conduct, tools, travel, transportation, assistants, or performance of any Priest’s services. PujaZen may display profile information, service descriptions, languages, photographs, prices, availability, reviews, ratings, badges, and other listing content supplied by Priests or users. Such display does not constitute PujaZen’s certification, endorsement, recommendation, guarantee, or warranty of any Priest’s identity, credentials, background, experience, punctuality, safety, quality, legal work eligibility, ritual qualification, or fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Puja guidance and service disclaimers

Purchase, Billing, and Refunds
This section applies to purchases and bookings made through PujaZen.
1. Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the amount shown at checkout.
2. Pricing and offerings
Prices, features, availability, offerings, and Priest rates may change at any time before purchase or booking confirmation. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, description errors, timing errors, or technical mistakes.
3. Digital access
Access to digital content, guided experiences, or related services may begin immediately after purchase or shortly thereafter, depending on the product and technical conditions.
4. Marketplace booking acknowledgments
When you book a live or in-person puja through PujaZen, you acknowledge that the service is offered by an independent Priest and not by PujaZen. PujaZen does not guarantee that any Priest’s statements, credentials, experience, legal work eligibility, punctuality, conduct, ritual method, availability, or quality of service are accurate, complete, verified, suitable, or satisfactory.
Any claims arising from a Priest’s acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, delays, cancellations, ritual performance, or on-site behavior are between you and the Priest, except to the limited extent PujaZen expressly agrees otherwise in these Terms.
5. Live puja bookings, disputes, no-shows, and refund cap
When you book a live puja, you are reserving a Priest’s time. If a Priest fails to attend, materially fails to perform, or there is another dispute relating to a booking, PujaZen may review available records, including messages, timestamps, booking information, and other platform data, and may request information from the customer and Priest.
If PujaZen determines, in its sole discretion, that a refund or credit is appropriate, any refund, credit, reversal, or other adjustment will not exceed the amount actually paid through the PujaZen platform for that specific booking.
PujaZen will not reimburse event costs, catering, travel, venue rentals, substitute-provider costs, decorations, materials, preparation expenses, emotional distress, or any other direct or indirect expenses incurred in anticipation of or in connection with the ritual.
6. Final sale; exceptions where required by law
Except as expressly stated in these Terms or as required by applicable law, purchases made through PujaZen are final. We may review requests involving billing errors or exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis, but nothing in this section obligates us to provide a refund, credit, cancellation, or replacement beyond what is required by law.
7. No guarantee of replacement Priest
PujaZen is not obligated to provide a substitute Priest, same-day replacement, backup provider, or rescheduled service, even if a Priest cancels, is delayed, or fails to appear.
8. Chargebacks and payment issues
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first through our Contact Us page so we can review the issue.
Priest Service Agreement
This section applies exclusively to individuals registering to offer services as a Priest on the PujaZen platform. By creating a Priest profile, listing services, opening availability, accepting a booking, or performing any service through PujaZen, you agree to the following:
1. Independent contractor relationship
You acknowledge and agree that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, joint venturer, franchisee, or agent of PujaZen LLC. You are solely responsible for providing your own tools, ritual items, assistants, materials, transportation, work methods, and performance of services. PujaZen does not control the details of how you perform your services.
2. Credentials, eligibility, and compliance
You represent, warrant, and covenant that all information provided in your profile or otherwise to PujaZen — including credentials, lineage, experience, biography, languages, photos, service areas, rates, and personal details — is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading.
You further represent and warrant that you are legally permitted to offer and perform compensated services in each jurisdiction where you accept bookings and that you possess and will maintain all visas, work permits, work authorizations, tax registrations, business registrations, permits, licenses, and other approvals required by applicable law.
PujaZen may rely on your self-reported information and is not responsible for independently verifying your credentials, identity, background, ritual qualification, legal right to work, business registration status, or compliance with labor, tax, immigration, licensing, or other laws.
3. Taxes, reporting, and financial responsibility
You are solely responsible for determining, reporting, filing, withholding if applicable, and paying any and all federal, state, local, and foreign taxes, duties, levies, fees, assessments, social taxes, self-employment taxes, income taxes, estimated taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, or similar charges arising from your use of PujaZen or the services you provide.
You acknowledge that you are operating as an independent service provider and that you are solely responsible for maintaining your own books and records, issuing invoices where required, registering with tax authorities where required, filing tax returns, making estimated tax payments, and complying with any information-reporting obligations applicable to you. PujaZen does not provide tax advice and does not assume responsibility for your failure to report income or comply with tax laws.
PujaZen may issue or facilitate tax reporting documents where required by law, but any such reporting does not reduce or shift your independent obligation to fully and accurately report all income and pay all taxes related to your services.
4. Public profile, ratings, and content rights
You agree that your profile information, including your name, biography, photographs, service descriptions, pricing, languages, service areas, and availability, may be displayed to signed-in users and, where PujaZen chooses, to the public.
You acknowledge that users may leave ratings and reviews regarding your services. PujaZen is not responsible for user review content and reserves the right to retain, remove, moderate, investigate, reorder, or decline to publish reviews or profile content in its sole discretion.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use and authorize PujaZen to display your profile text, photos, and other listing content.
5. Service commitments, communications, cancellations, and no-shows
By opening your availability calendar and accepting bookings, you commit to performing the accepted services at the agreed-upon date, time, format, and general location, subject only to reasonable delays or circumstances outside your control.
If you experience an emergency, scheduling conflict, delay, or any material change affecting a booking, you are strictly responsible for promptly informing the customer and PujaZen through the platform or other approved communication channel.
Failure to attend a booked session, refusal to perform an accepted booking, material shortening of the service without justification, or sending an unauthorized substitute may result in forfeiture of payout, refund or reversal to the customer, account strikes, suspension, or permanent termination of your Priest account. You agree that any liability, damages, losses, chargebacks, customer disputes, or claims arising from your no-show, delay, cancellation, misconduct, or failure to perform are solely your responsibility.
6. On-site conduct, safety, and responsibility for incidents
You are solely responsible for your conduct during virtual, live, and in-person services and for the safe handling of lamps, fire, incense, ritual items, tools, liquids, electrical items, furnishings, or any other materials used by you.
You assume all liability for any property damage, personal injury, death, theft, harassment, discrimination, fire hazard, smoke damage, or other incident caused by your acts or omissions at a customer’s home, event site, or any other location.
7. Assumption of liability and indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PujaZen LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, payment processors, and service providers from any and all claims, lawsuits, investigations, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, losses, penalties, taxes, interest, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your actions, omissions, negligence, misrepresentation of credentials, tax noncompliance, failure to report income, labor or employment claims, immigration or work authorization issues, property damage, injury, no-show, cancellation, or violation of any law.
